What is Holistic Nutrition?

Holistic Nutrition is the practice of eating natural, healthy foods for disease prevention. The holistic approach recognizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle with a balance of the right physical activity and psycho-spiritual well-being. We evaluate a patient's symptoms and concerns from which we make recommendations based on the individual's needs. This holistic approach requires more involvement of the patient in their health journey as we help them to adopt and maintain healthier habits. Holistic Nutrition also focuses on sustainability, seasonal foods, supporting local and organic farmers. Holistic Nutritionists can help you find your ideal diet, and show you how that may change based on your stress level, physical activity and the seasons. We will work in conjunction with other practitioners (eg. Naturopathic Doctors, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, etc.) to help our patients take control of their health and well-being.
